Due to the impact of the pandemic, most professional League of Legends tournaments worldwide have shifted to online play, with the LPL being one of the pioneers. While online matches still have many drawbacks, it is the best solution available at the moment.
Nearly a month has passed since the LPL Spring 2020 returned, but the online competition format has still brought some surprises and plenty of belly laughs for the community, especially during online interviews.

In reality, while the Gaming Houses of the teams are quite comfortable, they do not have the necessary equipment for conducting interviews, simply because they were not designed for that purpose.
However, when competing online and still needing to conduct interviews from home, teams and players have to make use of what they have and add a bit of their creativity to provide the audience with the best “frames” possible.

In a somewhat related development, the home working images of staff responsible for broadcasting the LCS tournament have also garnered significant interest from fans. The LCS just switched to online play a week ago, and it seems that those responsible for organizing the tournament still feel quite unfamiliar with doing their jobs from home.

There’s no denying that the impact of the pandemic has brought many inconveniences, but perhaps looking at the positive side, this is a time when teams, players, and tournament organizers can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience in their careers.
