Gumayusi Strongly “Challenges” Ruler
In the T1 roster, if we had to mention the most confident player right now, most League of Legends fans would immediately think of Gumayusi. The 2002-born AD Carry always maintains a positive spirit and is not afraid to show confidence against his opponents. Notably, everything he does is well-founded, and recently, Gumayusi made a statement that could be seen as a subtle “challenge” to veteran Ruler.

Specifically, in a recent statement ahead of the upcoming LCK Cup 2025, Gumayusi shared: “I feel that Ruler is even stronger than before. Many other AD Carries are also showing great strength. But as the only AD Carry currently active with 2 World Championship titles, I will do my best to uphold my value.”

It can be said that emphasizing the 2 World Championship titles is not just an act of asserting his talent from Gumayusi, but also a “challenge” aimed at other AD Carries, especially Ruler. After all, Ruler also has 1 World Championship title, and in 2023, he was very close to winning his second career title if it weren’t for Faker’s miraculous Shurima Shuffle and Gumayusi’s outstanding performance.

Gumayusi – Ruler Will Be a Highly Anticipated Matchup
Returning to the LCK after more than a year, Ruler will still be a formidable name. During his time with JDG, he demonstrated a strong ability to “carry the team.” Ruler’s objective may still be the Golden Road, and currently, his teammates at Gen.G are clearly of much higher quality compared to JDG.

However, since Gumayusi debuted and became a crucial factor for T1, Ruler has often been his “victim.” And when T1 faces Gen.G, the performance of these two superstars could very well determine the outcome of these two of the most powerful teams in the LCK today.
