Ziggs was introduced in 2012, and although not too weak, this Yordle character has not been trusted much. Specifically, his pick rate is less than 2% in matches, according to statistics from Champion.gg. Perhaps that is why Riot has buffed Ziggs 13 times continuously over the past 6 years.

Patch 5.22: Base mana increased to 384 (previously 334).
Patch 5.24: Damage ratio from the passive – Easy to Blow Up on structures increased from 150% to 200%.
Patch 6.3: Enemies in the center of the ultimate will receive 150% AP damage.
Patch 6.9: Increased magic power from the passive. Ultimate cooldown changed from 120 seconds at all levels to 120/105/90 at each level. The W – Explosive Mine can now deal damage to turrets.
Patch 6.21: The cooldown for hitting enemies with E – Minefield reduced by 0.1 seconds each time.

Patch 7.9: Every level increases resistance by 0.5.
Patch 7.15: Reduced cooldown of W – Explosive Mine from 26/24/22/20/18 to 24/21/18/15/12 at each level.
Patch 7.22: Base health increased to 536, health gained per level increased to 92 (previously 80).
Patch 8.3: Base health regeneration increased to 6.5 units per second.
Patch 8.9: Base mana increased to 480, increased damage of E – Minefield.

Patch 9.16: Reduced cooldown of the W skill – Minefield and ultimate – Mega Inferno Bomb.
Patch 10.2: Increased damage of Q – Satchel Charge. Increased travel range when using Explosive Mine. Increased slow from the E skill.
Despite this, the percentage of players using Ziggs is still quite low. Perhaps because this bomb guy is quite vulnerable to ganks with many crowd control effects or high energy consumption. But to keep him till the end of the game, just three hits are enough to take down any structure. As of now, Ziggs is still Riot’s favorite as he has not received any nerfs.
