The Duo of Rakan – Xin Zhao
These two Guardian units, priced at just 2 gold, are incredibly strong with their survival skills and explosive damage potential. Rakan arguably possesses the most dominant crowd control among all 2 gold champions, with a wide-area knockup from his ability, Grand Entrance; furthermore, with the Morellonomicon, the damage output of this ability is quite impressive.
Xin Zhao is a champion that excels in prolonged fights, with low energy costs allowing him to activate abilities and Guardian effects continuously, making him exceptionally hard to take down. Just a few items to increase his tankiness, and Xin Zhao can survive for a very long time in a round while still dealing substantial damage. The most suitable composition for these two champions is Guardian – Mystic; if you feel lacking in damage, you can swap out Sona and Soraka for the two Marksmen, Ashe and Jhin.
Jayce
If you ask which unit is the most “ridiculous” in Teamfight Tactics Season 3, Jayce is the answer. With the appearance of a destroyer in the Pirate faction, Jayce possesses almost everything a piece needs, including incredible damage and exceptional tankiness from the Vanguard trait, not to mention the chance to earn extra gold whenever he successfully “swings the hammer”.
Thanks to Jayce’s terrifying damage, the Vanguard – Mystic composition, which increases both armor and magic resistance, still deals an enormous amount of damage. Perhaps the only item Jayce needs is a Lightning Bow; you can use the remaining two slots for two defensive items, confident that this piece will crush the enemy team.
The Duo of Kai’Sa – Shaco
Moving on to Season 3, the Assassin trait has been removed by Riot, and they introduced a new faction called Spies, with the two strongest and most annoying units being none other than Kai’Sa and Shaco. The strength of this duo lies in their ability to deal both magic and physical damage to your team, making it very difficult for opponents to completely counter these two units and the Spy composition in general.
Moreover, with Riot’s character design that makes champions extremely strong when reaching 3 stars, not being overly dependent on expensive champions of the Spy composition allows players to invest gold to upgrade Kai’Sa and Shaco to the highest level. For Kai’Sa, just one energy item and the Morellonomicon is sufficient for damage, while for Shaco, the combination of Bloodthirster – Infinity Edge – Guardian Angel is the most suitable for this jester.
