Faker continues to prove that he is Deft’s most fearsome nemesis, as in their rematch, the captain of DragonX experienced the feeling of… not being able to play the game.
The match between T1 and DragonX in week 6 of the LCK Spring 2020 group stage took place with a completely one-sided game tilted in favor of Faker and his teammates.
In the first game, both teams maintained a relatively dull game state, with only a mere 4 kills after 30 minutes. However, T1, with a steadily scaling composition, gradually outperformed their opponents in the late game and secured the opening victory.
Game 2 also unfolded similarly, but everything became easier thanks to Teddy’s shining performance with the marksman Cassiopeia. DragonX really struggled to contest the game in the first 25 minutes, but T1’s late game composition once again emerged victorious.

The victory over DragonX further solidifies T1’s position in the race for the top. To be fair, after this win, the landscape of the LCK Spring 2020 is starting to take shape. Although DragonX is still performing well, they are clearly at a disadvantage against T1, Gen.G, or even Afreeca.
Therefore, the race for the spring championship may only be a competition among the three aforementioned names.
