Recently, a League of Legends gamer on Reddit, perhaps due to an overwhelming admiration for this champion, showcased his crafted result – a real-life version of Darius’s axe, modeled after the weapon from the game.
It can be seen that the axe designed by this gamer exhibits a high level of craftsmanship in terms of detail. The blade of the axe perfectly matches the original version. However, the biggest difference lies in its actual size.
In League of Legends, Darius is depicted as an incredibly large champion, standing approximately 2 meters tall, and his weapon is equally lengthy, with the width of the axe blade also exceeding 1 meter. Just looking at the massive size of this axe is enough to imagine the horrifying muscle power of the Noxian General, who can wield his axe with remarkable finesse.
Meanwhile, in real life, for an average person, swinging an axe that is 1 meter long is already quite challenging. If you are not someone who regularly engages in physical activities and are not accustomed to manual labor, using such an item would surely be quite difficult.
Evidence of this can be seen in the clip above, where this gamer tested out his battle axe by… chopping wood. The sharpness of this weapon was confirmed, as it sliced into the wood with a “smooth” cut, but the issue was that the swing of the wielder was not powerful enough to split the log in two.
Even though it is much smaller than the original, this axe is still heavy enough to make its owner stagger every time they use it. This shows that impressive-looking weapons from games can sometimes be… a bit unrealistic and difficult to apply in real life.
