The 10.7 version has just arrived on the Vietnamese server and has significantly altered the meta of Teamfight Tactics. This change comes from a series of powerful 5-cost units being mercilessly nerfed. For detailed information, you can check HERE. If you are not sure what to do to survive in the new meta, the following insights from a Challenger player with 500 points will be extremely helpful. By the way, fans of Yasuo and the Rebel composition may be quite disappointed.

Regarding strong compositions in version 10.7, physical damage-dealing teams will completely dominate the meta. From Marksmen, Blademasters to Cannoneers, all are extremely strong, and you can easily achieve top 1 or top 2 by following this route. Therefore, the B.F. Sword is an item you always want to own to combine with important items like Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge, and Guardian Angel.

The Rebel composition has been heavily nerfed as both main carries at the beginning and end of the match, Ziggs, have been weakened. Not only directly nerfed, but the drop rate of 5-cost champions at level 8 — when you spend all your gold to level up and roll for Aurelion Sol — has been significantly reduced. Meanwhile, the Rebel team does not support Jinx in dealing maximum damage like the Cannoneer team does. Therefore, if you are extremely lucky and manage to get Aurelion Sol early, then you can play Rebel.

The tank systems are still very strong. Vanguard, Guardian, and Brawlers continue to be a formidable shield in this new meta. The advice here is that if you cannot build Blademasters or Cannoneers early, then Vanguard is an extremely promising option. This composition is very strong in the mid-game and can earn you a lot of gold to use powerful units in the late game to deal damage.

Regarding the strongest composition in this version, the Challenger player shares that the Vanguard + Jhin Marksman team is currently rated S+ (which means extremely strong). The strength of this team lies in its power at levels 7 and 8, the moments when opponents lose health the fastest, with 3 Shadow and 4 Guardians and 2 Marksmen, you are practically a tank with damage, a beefy frontline, along with Ashe’s wide-area crowd control.

In the S tier (very strong but weaker than S+), we have the Brawler – Cannoneer team. This composition was already at the top in version 10.6, and in the new version, the nerf aimed at Brawlers does not significantly affect it, so it remains very good for climbing ranks. The only disadvantage preventing Brawler – Cannoneer from reaching S+ lies in the difficulty of acquiring Miss Fortune, leading to reduced late-game damage which depends on whether Jinx has enough items or not.

The A+ tier (also a strong composition but not dominating like S tier) is the Cybernetic team. With buffs aimed at the Infiltrator, you can now completely integrate this system into Cybernetic to combo with Irelia. The dream composition would be 6 Cybernetic + Thresh and Shen, allowing Irelia to deal maximum damage. Moreover, Shen is currently quite strong in the meta as he is the only unit that can counter Jhin or other Cannoneers.

The A tier is the Gadgeteen – Sorcerer composition. The reason this composition has become strong is twofold: first, you can acquire Fizz early if you hit the Cosmic Chosen Purple or when rolling at level 7; second, this composition does not rely on 5-cost champions. In the context where many strong team comps have been “nerfed” in the new version, it’s understandable that Gadgeteen – Sorcerer climbs to tier A. The B tier will consist of all other remaining compositions.
