Despite being in the online competition phase, the mid-season transfer window of LPL Spring 2020 is still in full swing. Just moments ago, the first big bomb was officially detonated, as images of JackeyLove – the 2018 World Champion – appearing at the Gaming House of TOP Esports have been revealed.
The management of this team has also confirmed the information that the marksman formerly of Invictus Gaming will officially join TES and be listed for the second round of the LPL Spring 2020 group stage.

Thus, after months of being absent, JackeyLove’s new destination has finally been decided. Both Invictus Gaming and Suning Gaming – the two teams believed to have made the most efforts to persuade JackeyLove to sign, have both failed in this deal.
And perhaps, the most regretful people right now are the fans of Suning Gaming and SofM. At one point, SN was very close to acquiring JackeyLove during the pre-season transfer window, but for some reason, JackeyLove ultimately decided to take a break from competition, and SN had to look for another marksman to replace him – huanfeng.
While IG is still soaring high with impressive performances from rookie marksman Puff, Suning’s inconsistent form only adds to the fans’ disappointment for missing out on a blockbuster deal. Especially since they previously let their star – Smlz go to pave the way for what seemed like a guaranteed signing of JackeyLove.

Currently, SofM alone is clearly not enough to improve SN’s gameplay. They still have some impressive victories, and huanfeng occasionally shines with quality team-carry performances, but that alone cannot help SN compete for a favorable position in the playoff race; their overly young roster is truly incapable of matching up against other giants like IG, RNG, FPX, or even the rookie sensation eStar.
Meanwhile, SN’s direct competitor – TOP Esports is currently like a “tiger growing wings” with the addition of JackeyLove, one of the top marksmen in the LPL right now.
It seems that the road to glory for SN will be quite long if they cannot secure a quality contract or improve their inconsistent performance.
