Lightning Bow
Crafted from two smaller items, the Giant’s Staff and the Silver Cloak, the main reason Lightning Bow is not widely used is that this item is suitable for frontline champions, but Teamfight Tactics players are not accustomed to stacking items for this group of champions. Furthermore, the two component items are usually used to build the Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Bloodthirster for physical damage compositions, or other AP items.

Lightning Bow in Season 3 can be considered extremely overpowered with the passive reducing magic resistance by 25%, meaning opponents with Dragon’s Claw still take massive magic damage as usual. Suitable champions to wield this item are frontline units like the Guardian or Vanguard. If you build a Vanguard – Marksman team and have yet to find Jhin or Ashe, just give Lightning Bow to Jayce and he can easily carry you to level 8.

Giant Slayer
The reason why Giant Slayer is not commonly built is quite similar to Lightning Bow, the component items are too valuable (B.F. Sword and Wooden Bow), as they can be used to build many strong items. Moreover, this item also depends on the opponents; if the enemy has a tanky team with high HP, then this item can maximize its effectiveness.

In a meta where every match has at least one player with 3-star Xin Zhao, one player with Pilot, and one player building Brawlers – Cannoneers, the power of Giant Slayer suddenly increases significantly when there are too many high HP enemies that need to be taken down. You can confidently equip Giant Slayer to your carry without fearing any loss in this current meta.

Green Bow
One of the mistakes most players make is to build items for champions too rigidly according to online guides. As a result, situational items like Green Bow are overlooked, causing you to lose painfully when you could have won. Remember that in this Season 3, the Vanguard composition and its variants show extreme superiority with strong damage and defense. With 250 armor at the 4-unit mark, it’s hard for any conventional team to take them down.

However, Green Bow is different. With a passive that reduces armor by 90% when dealing critical hits, taking down opponents using Vanguards or with a lot of armor becomes extremely easy. To utilize this item effectively, you should give it to champions with critical hit abilities from skills like Jhin, Shaco, or combine it with Infinity Edge.

Sword of the Divine
This is an item that has existed since Season 1 and has not changed since then. Sword of the Divine has many ways to be used but is often overlooked by many players because… they don’t know how to use it. With the ability to disable an opponent for 7 seconds at the start of the round, if used skillfully, you can cut down a large amount of damage, disable a troublesome enemy, or simply gain an advantage in numbers.

The champions that use this item most effectively are units that can move freely without fear of losing a good position. In summary, Sword of the Divine is a strong item in the late game, you can easily acquire this item during the general selection round; it requires you to have good observation skills and make decisions quickly, so this item is not really suitable for “lazy” players.
