Wukong the Lifesteal Beast
Since his rework, Wukong has always been on the list of the strongest champions both in top lane and jungle due to his incredible tankiness. And do you know what’s scarier than a Wukong? It’s a Wukong that lifesteals like it’s nothing. Top lane players in Korea have come up with a way to combine this monkey’s natural tankiness with the strong lifesteal from certain items, resulting in a monster that has evolved to a new level.

This playstyle relies on the combo of the items Blade of the Ruined King + Black Cleaver + Death’s Dance which were very strong in the previous patch. These three items provide a lot of damage, armor penetration, and lifesteal. The fourth item you should choose is Serpent’s Fang; Wukong’s kit synergizes excellently with these items, especially with the E – Nimbus Strike increasing attack speed and Q – Crushing Blow providing armor reduction. In summary, with this playstyle, Wukong will sustain in fights incredibly well.

Sett with Blade of the Ruined King
It seems that the craze for Blade of the Ruined King has reached Sett, as this “elite thug” has started using this extremely broken item. The reason Sett synergizes well with Blade of the Ruined King is that he has a lot of basic attacks and can unleash multiple hits in a short time. Just a simple combo of two basic attacks to activate Q and then two more to trigger the Blade of the Ruined King effect four times.

Moreover, in duels, the only thing Sett fears is being kited. With the slow and movement speed boost from Blade of the Ruined King, he can punish his opponents quite easily. The only weakness of this build is that you lack tankiness; the additional items for Blade of the Ruined King like Trinity Force and Black Cleaver serve mainly for dueling.

Morgana in the Jungle
Among the champions buffed for jungle play in patch 10.6, Morgana has proven to be the most favored name at the moment. Although not an overwhelmingly strong champion, Morgana can counter ganks and handle most of the current jungle champions with her crowd control from Q – Dark Binding and crowd control immunity with E – Black Shield.

Essentially, Morgana is a more versatile version of Elise; you will try to create advantages for your teammates with the burst damage from Q, then aim for objectives, and towards the end of the game, will serve as a second protector for your carries. With the nature of the jungle position, quality early items like Sorcerer’s Shoes or Liandry’s Anguish are best suited for Morgana.

Pantheon with Blade of the Ruined King
One would think that a champion like Pantheon, who uses many lethality items, would be outside the craze of Blade of the Ruined King, but the Korean Challenger players thought otherwise. They also build this extremely broken item for Pantheon and use the rune Blade of the Ruined King to activate its effect as much as possible, especially with the empowered version of W – Shield Vault, dealing three consecutive basic attacks.

Furthermore, with Blade of the Ruined King, your attack speed will increase rapidly, and you can stack your passive very quickly, meaning you have the opportunity to unleash two empowered skills in a short period, a colossal advantage. Pantheon’s Blade of the Ruined King build is also completely different from the usual; you need to have the best survivability to unleash as many basic attacks as possible, with the damage playstyle eliminated, and Pantheon will build fighter items like Black Cleaver or Death’s Dance for defense.
