However, recently, Mystic’s wife – the team’s main AD carry, announced shocking news on her personal Weibo that left fans stunned. This may also explain why Mystic’s performance is not as soaring as it was at the beginning of the season.
Specifically, the player’s wife shared that the couple had to terminate their second child due to her being diagnosed with cervical cancer cells:
“I was diagnosed with abnormal cervical cells while pregnant with our second baby. And I had to terminate the pregnancy. I am currently in recovery, but I think I should inform the fans who are waiting for the baby’s arrival. I am using a translation tool, so I don’t know if what I wrote is accurate.”
In the comments, Mystic’s wife also mentioned:
“The presence of abnormal cells is an early sign of cervical cancer. Recently, I have frequently had to go to the hospital for testing. Thank you everyone for your concern. I will definitely be healthy so my husband won’t have to feel sad anymore.”
Earlier this March, Mystic and his wife joyfully announced that they were expecting their second child, but an unexpected event occurred, and surely Mystic is now living in great worry for his wife, as he cannot be by her side due to the social distancing measures at the Afreeca Freecs Gaming House.
