Although the 2020 Spring LCS has to be played online, it doesn’t mean Riot Games isn’t creating accompanying programs to hype up the tournament. This weekend, the lower bracket finals and the grand finals of the LCS will take place, but the events leading up to it have started today.

According to the LCS schedule, they will kick off with “Art day,” a time for Riot artists and the community to showcase their design skills for awesome skins in League of Legends. Prominently featured is the stream program of the Riot Games artists and the skin design team, where they spend most of the stream brainstorming and designing the Quarantine Teemo skin with a medical protective suit and a face mask. The message is crystal clear – “League of Legends champions are in quarantine, and so should you be.”

During this design time, the skin design team also received quite a few questions about the champion skin from the world champion FunPlus Phoenix. Perhaps the members of the skin team are fans of Nautilus as they expressed disappointment that Doinb chose Malphite instead of the Depths Giant.
Indeed, during this pandemic, contributing money is not the only valuable thing; small but meaningful messages like this also help combat the disease, at least preventing it from spreading further.
