Game bugs have long been an inseparable part of every video game, and League of Legends is no exception. However, they need to be controlled and fixed promptly to ensure the best gaming experience for players. No one wants to be playing a game normally and suddenly get booted out with the bugsplat window popping up continuously and being unable to close it.
However, if the issue were limited to personal gaming machines, it wouldn’t be too serious. The problem is that game bugs have started to attack even the official machines from Riot Games used for streaming tournaments. This incident occurred during the match between G2 Esports and Origen a few days ago when the tournament was proceeding normally, suddenly the machine used for broadcasting the tournament got booted out with the very familiar bugsplat error.
Fortunately, Riot Games had a backup plan, and the match wasn’t interrupted for too long. However, this phenomenon shows that Riot Games still hasn’t been able to resolve this long-standing issue with game bugs. Since the start of Season 10, many minor client-related bugs have been discovered by players, leading to a gradual decline in gaming experience.
Riot understands this, and they have even announced a cleanup and upgrade campaign for their League of Legends client. However, the effectiveness of these measures remains to be seen, as bugs continue to appear repeatedly as mentioned. Both we, the players, and Riot Games do not want this to happen; perhaps it’s best for us to stay optimistic and hope that the publisher will fix these kinds of issues.
