At the beginning of Season 10, Riot Games released a series of announcement videos regarding their plans for League of Legends, covering events, skins, game balance, and of course, new champions as well. In that development diary video, there was an incredibly notable image, considered the first trailer for the new champions in League of Legends.
In the video, Riot Reav3 made a particularly noteworthy statement: “As for a masked stranger, well… some demons should remain in our past”. According to many League of Legends players’ “conspiracy theories”, this is a reference to Yasuo having taken the life of his brother Yone during his escape.
The image can be considered a trailer for two new champions, featuring a striking red sword at the center and surrounded by numerous swords stuck in the ground, reminiscent of the Blade Grave in Ionia culture. All of these details lead people to believe that sooner or later, Yone will indeed be the new champion in League of Legends.

The above speculation was further solidified when a South Korean YouTuber discovered an extremely new detail directly related to the image above and Yasuo. Specifically, when using the Spirit Blossom Yasuo skin, upon reaching level 6 and getting killed, Yasuo’s sword after death suddenly glows red just like in the image Riot presented in the video. This is a new detail that has never existed before for this skin and is the first Easter egg related to Yone.

In recent years, Riot has often had the habit of releasing a champion who was a side character but played an important role in the storyline of several champions. First, we had Kai’Sa, the long-lost daughter of Kassadin, followed by Senna – the wife who was thought to be dead of Lucian. It is very likely that Yone, the brother whom Yasuo killed in the storyline, will continue this tradition and be the next new champion.

However, the question is how Yone, being dead, can come back to life. Let’s speculate a bit from details related to weapons, swordsmen, and the sword turning red; perhaps the only way for Yasuo’s brother to logically come back to life is to be transformed into a Darkin like Aatrox.
