Commentator Văn Tùng Frustrated by Being Drawn into the T1 – Zeus Drama
In the latter half of 2024, the League of Legends community welcomed the championship skins honoring T1’s victory at the 2023 Worlds. At that time, Zeus was still a member of the team and the FMVP, so he would receive two Jayce skins. However, recently, Zeus’s skin line has drawn criticism from many fans of Zeus towards the famous VCS commentator Văn Tùng. The reason is that he referred to the skin line as “T1 Jayce” instead of what these fans believe it should be, “Zeus Jayce.”

Perhaps the incident has dragged on too long and the commentator has been unfairly attacked, so in a recent stream, Văn Tùng made a subtle yet frustrated remark: “People say you shouldn’t argue with those who are not on your level. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

Additionally, the commentator provided another subtle example, though it was quite harsh. His comments quickly drew significant attention from the Vietnamese League of Legends community.
The VCS Community Also Expresses Frustration with Zeus Fans After the Incident Involving Commentator Văn Tùng
On various forums, the majority expressed support for the VCS commentator. This is because what he did was not wrong. The skins honoring the championship teams at Worlds are always referred to as “team name + champion name”. For example, back in the day, it was SKT T1 Ryze (for Faker’s skin) and currently, it is T1 Jayce (for Zeus’s skin).

Therefore, the fact that fans of the former T1 star continuously ‘var’ the commentator just because he called the skin by its correct name is very unreasonable. Moreover, these actions only deepen the conflict between T1 fans and Zeus fans, as the frustrations of T1 fans from the recent dramatic transfer have yet to truly subside.
