GAM Esports – the oldest and most renowned esports organization in Vietnam has officially announced the expiration of contracts with 4 members of its coaching staff including: Huỳnh Văn Tân “Yuna”, Dương Nguyễn Duy Thanh “Tinikun”, Nguyễn Trần Sơn “Arik”, and Hồ Minh Triệu “Iris”.

At the beginning of the VCS Summer 2019 season, with the announcement of the blockbuster signing of Levi, GAM Esports was always a hot topic in the media. Official posts on their Fanpage at that time consistently attracted tens of thousands of likes and shares, marking a breakout season for GAM Esports.
True to their slogan “Whatever it takes, make GAM great again”, GAM Esports gradually perfected their lineup and reaped success, evidenced by their championship title at VCS Summer 2019. However, at the 2019 World Championship, GAM Esports didn’t go too far, which left fans somewhat disappointed.
In the VCS Spring 2020 season, GAM Esports continued their all-star roster policy by bringing in almost the entire Vietnam All-Stars lineup. GAM Esports put everything on the line for their ambition to dominate VCS with a breakout season, but an incredible defeat in the finals brought the team back down to earth.
After the defeat in VCS Spring 2020, the coaching staff of GAM Esports including: Huỳnh Văn Tân “Yuna” – Head Coach, Dương Nguyễn Duy Thanh “Tinikun” – Assistant Coach, Nguyễn Trần Sơn “Arik” – Manager, and Hồ Minh Triệu “Iris” (Analyst) had their contracts expire with the organization.
With the new season approaching and to quickly stabilize the team, GAM Esports leadership has officially announced the appointment of Nguyễn Khánh Hiệp “Izumin” as the new Operations Director. GAM’s leadership is placing great hope that with Izumin’s presence and upcoming changes, GAM Esports will gradually rebuild the team and regain the trust of their fans.

Starting as a player for the Saigon Jokers, Khánh Hiệp Izumin officially began working at Garena in 2013. There, he had the opportunity to lead two teams, Hanoi Dragon and Hanoi Phoenix. After that, through the early years of the domestic League of Legends scene, Izumin became known and left a strong impression on the audience as a professional commentator who was also very witty and humorous.
In 2018, Khánh Hiệp Izumin unexpectedly announced his departure from VETV to focus on his personal projects. After 2 years away from the screen and the VCS tournament, he has returned to the professional arena in a different role – Operations Director of GAM Esports.

As a figure with extensive experience across various fields in the Vietnamese League of Legends scene, Khánh Hiệp Izumin’s presence promises to bring about positive changes, while also continuing to ignite hope for GAM Esports to achieve further success in the future.
