Unexpected Events That Made My Future Seem to Collapse
I used to be a hairdresser with a passion for gaming like many others. I thought life would go on peacefully, but then an unexpected event struck. On June 30th last year, after saying goodbye to a friend who was going abroad, I unfortunately had a traffic accident that left me with severe injuries, causing me to lose an arm and a leg.
Waking up after an 8-hour surgery, I was devastated and cried a lot; all my plans shattered in an instant, and my career future seemed bleak. My parents are old, and my two older sisters have gotten married, I am the youngest son and also the main breadwinner. Such difficult circumstances made me feel discouraged and wanted to give up everything, but thinking of my parents, relatives, and friends, I pushed myself to keep living. Now, I have regained my spirit and have a more positive outlook. Life is still tough in terms of daily activities, but I have gradually adapted and told myself to try harder so that my parents wouldn’t be sad.
Finding Joy and a Life-Changing Opportunity Through Teamfight Tactics
Not only was my life completely turned upside down, but my enjoyment of gaming was also affected. The aftermath of the accident left me unable to continue playing fast-paced games that I was used to. But that was when Teamfight Tactics appeared and changed everything in the most positive way.
At my lowest point, I turned to gaming for entertainment. Due to my circumstances, I couldn’t continue with the familiar games, and it was during this time that I learned about Teamfight Tactics, so I researched and tried it out. Initially, it was challenging because I had to get used to using the mouse with my left hand, but after getting accustomed, I found that this game was very suitable for me, so I played more. I changed my in-game name to 1taythachdau and started to try hard. Now it’s season 3, and I am proud to have reached Challenger in all three seasons, with my highest achievement being in the top 10 ranks in Vietnam. Although my actions are slower than others because I have to roll with the mouse, I am confident in my skills to compensate. You can check out my skills on my stream channel. *laughs*
When I play games, it’s also when I find my laughter again, playing with friends who understand and empathize with me. Thanks to everyone’s encouragement, I began to try my hand at streaming and have gained a decent following. Additionally, I created a clan named “1TTĐ” with nearly 100 members, most of whom are gamers ranked Master and above, enjoying sharing experiences together. The clan name is an abbreviation of my nickname, but the members in the clan jokingly call it “1 Beautiful Angel”.
Currently, I have gradually adapted to life and also found a new job. I realize that gaming and streaming can also be a legitimate profession, suitable for my current circumstances, fulfilling my passion while still earning an income to support myself. I cherish this job and will continue to learn to improve the quality of my future streams. I hope to receive support and feedback from everyone.
Future Plans
My upcoming plan is to organize a gathering for all the members in the clan to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone.
As for myself, I want to become a streamer who shares my gaming experiences while bringing laughter and humorous situations to viewers. At the same time, I aim to inspire those who find themselves in unfortunate circumstances like mine.
Personal Experience and an Inspirational Quote
Until now, perhaps Hoang himself cannot imagine that life has led him to so many turns. Indeed, “a day is as long as a century,” only within a year, but this gamer seems to have experienced all the emotional ranges of a lifetime.
But the most important thing is, at present, we have witnessed a “challenger” of the highest caliber, possessing a unique nickname, who always lives with an optimistic spirit and looks towards the future.
“When one door closes, another opens. Be strong and move forward because you are never alone on the road of life.” – This quote brings me inspiration and motivation to keep going. It is not something new, but only when I experience it myself do I truly grasp its meaning. Life is not always smooth, but opportunities always exist if we know how to seize them and are ready to make a difference for ourselves.
