Recently on his personal Instagram, T1 Coach Kim announced that he has donated 1.5 million won from his prize for being named the Best Coach of the LCK Spring 2020 to support social welfare organizations in South Korea:
“Hello, I have just received the prize money from being named the Best Coach of the LCK Spring 2020, and with this, I want to dedicate 1.5 million won from this prize to contribute something beautiful.
At the same time, with my tiny voice, I have also called for a total donation of 3 million won for an organization working for children.”
#For a better foundation for life.”

Thus, the captain of T1 has donated 1.5 million won (approximately 28.6 million VND) from the prize for the Best Coach of the LCK Spring 2020, while also urging friends and fans to contribute a total of 3 million won (~ 57 million VND) to welfare organizations in South Korea.
Coach Kim’s actions have received enthusiastic praise from the League of Legends fan community. Coach Kim, along with the members and management of T1, has been very active in fundraising and promoting charitable donations to combat the recent Covid-19 pandemic.

From these noble gestures, T1’s status and reputation are increasingly being elevated not only within the esports community but also in the social aspect of South Korea.
Joining T1 at the start of the 2020 season, Coach Kim “Kim” Jeung-soo was expected to be a worthy replacement after the legendary kkOma’s departure. And in his very first season leading the team, he achieved resounding success as he and his students “dominated” the LCK Spring 2020 in every sense, while also convincingly winning the individual title of “Best Coach of the Season.”
