Few would expect that a boy currently in high school could rise as a “phenomenon” in the gaming community. However, Bé Trọc is a testament to that; this student is one of the current “prodigies” in the Vietnamese Mobile Legends scene. Not yet old enough to pursue a professional career, Bé Trọc already boasts an enormous following. Excelling in both academics and gaming, Bé Trọc has captured the hearts of the gaming community in particular and the online community in general.
1. Hello Bé Trọc, can you introduce yourself a little?
Hello everyone, I am Bé Trọc, my real name is Phạm Nhật Hào, and I currently live and study in Bình Phước. People call me Trọc because I had a little hair since I was a child, so my grandfather gave me that nickname, and everyone still calls me that to this day.

2. When did you start playing games? What inspired you to pursue this path?

I started playing games in the summer of 7th grade, accidentally getting to know Uncle Msuong, who introduced me to play together. We climbed to Top 1 and gradually lived together in Ho Chi Minh City. He taught me everything from basics to advanced aspects of the game, and I have pursued this path ever since.
3. Do your family and relatives oppose your pursuit of this path?
Currently, I can balance my studies and gaming, so my parents support me and do not oppose my work in this field.

4. People often have prejudices about gamers not being a legitimate job. What do you think about that?
I think this is a profession that can bring income if one achieves high results. Moreover, being able to live and work with one’s passion is something that everyone should cherish. Not only that, they can also bring glory to their country when competing on the world stage, like Team Flash, for instance.
5. As a young gamer, do you face any difficulties or pressures?
The biggest pressure I face is balancing studying and gaming constantly. I don’t get much rest and often stay up late, and the only solution is to try hard and manage my time more effectively.
6. What are your future plans? Do you want to become a professional gamer?
Of course! I really want to compete professionally, but I’m not old enough yet. I will strive to complete my studies well while also trying my hand at livestreaming, continuing to balance my studies and gaming to avoid negative impacts. Knowing I’m still young, I will have to work much harder.
