The “game-breaking” bug in League of Legends can cause players to lose in an instant
In League of Legends, alongside mechanisms like buffs and jungle monsters, there exists an NPC that can be considered invulnerable. This is the Shopkeeper in the game – a character that usually stands in the fountain and helps players purchase items for their champions. This character cannot be damaged, no matter how fierce the battle is outside.

However, according to some players, a severe bug has emerged that allows players to take down the Shopkeeper during matches. Notably, this is not just a regular bug, but it can directly affect the gameplay. If the Shopkeeper is defeated, players will no longer be able to purchase items for their champions.
Even more surprisingly, players can also receive gold when defeating the Shopkeeper (50 gold). A few days ago, this bug was discovered with the champion Caitlyn. However, it was recently noted that even Senna can trigger this bug, and the Shopkeeper can indeed be taken down after just a few shots.

The League of Legends community reacts strongly, but Riot has yet to take action
With this bug, if the Shopkeeper of any team is defeated, players will no longer be able to buy new items or upgrade their existing items in the usual way. According to Vandiril (a bug specialist in the League of Legends community), players can only buy items when they are defeated and in a cooldown state waiting to respawn.
However, if players must get defeated every time they want to buy items, they will be unable to win as the opponents continue to grow stronger while they are taken down repeatedly. Therefore, for many gamers, encountering this bug essentially guarantees defeat.

– What are they doing with that code?
– Is the Shop now considered a structure?
– Winning by taking down the opponent’s Shopkeeper
However, Riot has yet to take any action to address the issue, even though the bug has been around for a few days.
