The Ultimate Challenge Showmatch is a friendly tournament celebrating the launch of the Ultimate Weapon skin series 2020, featuring professional League of Legends teams from the VCS. Recently, the participating line-ups for the Ultimate Challenge have been revealed on the live stream channel of VETV7 Esports.
The most noteworthy point is the appearance of a familiar name in the Vietnamese League of Legends community in recent days: Kim “Profit” Jun-hyung – the former top laner of SKT T1 (T1), has officially debuted in the colors of Team Flash.

With the move to register Profit for this showmatch, Team Flash has almost indirectly confirmed that the Korean player has officially joined this team, as per the recent rumors.
Recently, the former T1 star reportedly attended the “celebration” party of the reigning VCS champions, which has sparked discussions among the gaming community about him becoming the first foreign player in professional League of Legends in Vietnam.

This news initially raised quite a few doubts about its feasibility. Team Flash currently has two top laners, Stark and Yoshino, so Profit joining FL seems hard to believe.
However, with Yoshino facing health issues, and Stark rarely maintaining stable performance for long, Team Flash clearly has reasons to recruit Profit.
As for the former T1 player, he has reportedly lived in Vietnam for quite a long time and is diligently learning Vietnamese, so any communication barriers will be somewhat mitigated. However, Profit’s participation in this showmatch does not mean he can participate in the VCS due to foreign player regulations. For now, fans can only wait for the latest updates from the Flash management and look forward to the debut of the first foreign player in VCS history.
