Recently, Riot Games has hinted multiple times about the champion pool of Teamfight Tactics. More specifically, Riot Mort (Lead Designer of Teamfight Tactics) has shared that there will be many changes, such as reworking or removing some champions, introducing new champions or Traits, etc., in the mid-season phase.
After the 10.10 patch landed on servers worldwide for a few days, a Chinese gamer uncovered some new images from Teamfight Tactics within the WAD files of League of Legends.

According to the images, it can be seen that Nidalee and Gnar’s skins belong to the Galactic Superhuman group, similar to the Pilot group consisting of Fizz, Annie, and Rumble in Teamfight Tactics. With these two new names, many hope that Garen will have some new activations if there are up to 5 Pilots on the board.

Next up is Janna in the Star Guardian skin; the community guesses that the 4-cost champion Soraka will be removed and replaced by Janna. Since Mystic champions aren’t strong in damage, Janna’s skill may create a shield for an ally or heal the entire team like in the previous season.

Next is Morgana the Mecha – a skin along with the Celestial group featuring Kayle, Kai’Sa, and Miss Fortune. Therefore, Morgana may become the fourth Celestial champion in Teamfight Tactics.

Lastly, there’s Kog’Maw; the person who discovered these images stated that before the 10.10 update he had found the image files once and it was the basic image of Kog’Maw (from the Void). After the 10.10 update, the basic Kog’Maw image was replaced by the Battle Mecha skin. Since the Battle Mecha skin group has many champions like Skarner, Urgot, Viktor, etc., it’s possible Riot Games will add it as a new Trait altogether.
