Recently, the former owner of Sky Gaming – the person who accurately reported Palette’s departure from GAM Esports (and is likely to join Team Flash), has continued to post a shocking transfer “spoil”.
In his latest status, he simply posted a single line: “DBL Tinikun”, and perhaps this hints that the former coach of GAM – Dương “Tinikun” Nguyễn Duy Thanh will join Dashing Buffalo?
Notably, recently, Tinikun has frequently interacted with or mentioned the person believed to be the owner of Dashing Buffalo on his personal Facebook. In fact, if you are a fan of the coach known as “Tí Nị”, you would recognize that his statuses are often not just “for fun” but are sometimes to convey hints about certain events.
However, Tinikun’s joining DBL to return to the coaching position seems quite confusing (if it actually happens). After leaving GAM Esports, he announced that he would not join any other team in VCS, and even expressed a desire to avoid involvement in Esports, stating that “he cannot celebrate when seeing other teams win against GAM”.
Moreover, Tinikun’s relationship with the leadership of Dashing Buffalo in the past has not been very good. During last summer’s transfer window, this coach publicly accused DBL (then Phong Vũ Buffalo) of deceitful behavior, trying to seize the “loan contract” for Zeros.
Therefore, if Tinikun joins DBL, it would be akin to erasing his previous statement, and considering the past conflicts, this seems even less likely to happen. However, in a period where VCS is experiencing major personnel upheaval, anything can happen.
DBL is one of the teams suffering significant losses in their roster, with both Naul and BigKoro bidding farewell recently. Except for GAM, theoretically, they are the team that needs the presence of an experienced and “charismatic” coach like Tinikun. Could it be that with many close relationships in the League of Legends community, Tinikun will accept the role of leading Dashing Buffalo to revive this team?
