As we reported a few days ago, the Vietnamese League of Legends scene was once again shaken when commentator Hoàng Luân made predictions, not just stopping at picking left or right, but also providing the score for the matches of week 2 VCS Summer 2020. And after the first two matches yesterday, we once again verified the ‘divine’ nature of Pelu’s predictions.

Specifically, commentator Hoàng Luân predicted that Overpower Gaming would win GAM Esports with a score of 2-1, and while the result was indeed 2-1, the winning team was GAM Esports. The highlight of yesterday was the convincing victory of Saigon Buffalo over Percent Esports with a score of 2-0. Looking back at commentator Hoàng Luân’s prediction, it was indeed 2-0, but it was a victory for Percent, leaving many feeling disheartened by his ‘divine’ aura.

Just last night, after the two matches concluded, it seems that commentator Hoàng Luân also felt he was a bit “over the top” this week and apologized to the VCS teams. The happiest teams are clearly those that weren’t supported by Pelu, like Saigon Buffalo and GAM Esports, as they secured victories. Unfortunately, the two rookies of VCS who are labeled as the “newcomer” teams received all of Pelu’s affection.

Whether it was intentional or accidental by the organizing committee, the two rookie teams of VCS, Percent Esports and Overpower Gaming, will continue to compete today – June 27. Fortunately for them, this time commentator Hoàng Luân has lost faith in them, as he believes that GAM Esports and Team Secret (the two opponents today of Percent and OPG) will win.

If today commentator Hoàng Luân’s predictions continue to be “accurate,” the emotions of the fans of the two rookie teams will be like riding a roller coaster.
