Although this is just a bug appearing on the PBE, its mechanics are so humorous and dangerously unbelievable. Specifically, recently, the “snooping expert” Vandiril discovered a bizarre bug in the Nexus Assault game mode.
In this case, his team had already lost too many Variants and was unlikely to turn the tide, so the members decided to hit Surrender. However, instead of their Nexus being destroyed and receiving a defeat notification, it was the enemy’s Nexus that got destroyed, and Vandiril’s team suddenly received a victory message without any understanding of why.
Of course, this also means that your team has suffered an unjust defeat. And if this bug persists, naturally, players will get to experience the feeling of turning into Thanos, where just gathering 500 buddies to “snap” surrender will cause the enemy team to vanish.
The Nexus Assault mode is still being tested and refined on the PBE, so it’s hard to avoid bizarre bugs. However, a bug as ridiculous as this is surely a once-in-a-millennium occurrence in League of Legends history, where players want to surrender but fate won’t allow it and forces them… to win.
