Unpredictable yet charming, Rakan is the infamous trickster of the vastaya and the greatest battlefield bard in the history of the Lhotlan tribe. For the Ionian highlanders, his name has long been synonymous with wild festivals, uncontrollable parties, and chaotic music. Few would guess that he is also the comrade of the rebel Xayah, fully committed to her ideals.

Released on April 5, 2017, Rakan is the 135th champion of League of Legends, just before the 136th “registration number” of Xayah, and has always been one of the most effective supports, creating the most impactful plays in both ranked games and professional tournaments.

Rakan and Xayah have always appeared extremely affectionate in cosplay photos, and of course, once it’s all set, people just transform to fit the gender. However, the female cosplayer Jessica Nigri took a bold step by deciding to cosplay as the male character Rakan with a “breast” concept that is incredibly alluring. She is known as one of the hottest female cosplayers with a perfect hourglass figure, so this version of Rakan is indeed “quite heavy,” to the point that her fans exclaimed: “With a size like this, can he even use W to knock up?”.

According to the lore, beyond the ancient, mysterious deep forests of Ionia is where the last of the Lhotlan vastaya reside. It is a place filled with magic and where time holds little meaning. For these strange beings, the mortal world is no different from a barren desert, drained of magic. Few are willing to venture far from their shrinking land, but Rakan has long walked that risky path. Rakan travels along the magical currents of the world, as an explorer, a messenger, and a bard for his tribe.

As a wanderer welcomed in any inn or village gathering, Rakan is content with simple adventures on the streets… until he has the chance to meet Xayah at the harvest festival in Vlonqo.

Seeing her in the crowd, Rakan performs an ancient song, captivating the entire town with his dazzling outfit. Despite countless human and vastaya women having swooned over him in the past, the Purple Crow seems immune to his charm. Why does she see him yet not follow? A puzzling riddle.

Curious, the battlefield bard decides to follow Xayah on her journeys. He is drawn to the way she interacts with the world. She seems always prepared, distant, and focused while he is carefree, cheerful, and naive – yet in every dangerous situation, they fight together in an unimaginable harmony. Soon, they become inseparable.

After months of bonding, Rakan begins to see the world through Xayah’s eyes. Inspired by her ideals, he joins the crusade to reclaim the vastaya’s power and regain all that was lost.

Thanks to Xayah, he has found his life’s purpose, and Rakan has fallen into the net of love.
