The past week has likely been extremely heavy for the players of GAM Esports as social media has been buzzing with discussions about the team’s salary controversies. Perhaps this invisible pressure has prevented GAM Esports from performing at their full potential, leading to Team Flash narrowly winning 2-1 last night.

Right after the match, a former GAM Esports player, Noway, unexpectedly posted photos believed to show him taking his younger teammates, including Dia1, out for a meal and a chat. Noway even dropped a strong hint in his caption about Dia1 potentially joining SBTC, the team he currently plays for.

We still can’t tell whether Dia1’s comments were just jokes among friends or if the player genuinely wants to quit competing to become a streamer for SBTC. In terms of skill, Dia1 is among the top in the VCS, so it’s entirely possible for him to join a strong team and pursue titles. It would be a real shame if Dia1 decided to retire early like that.

However, we cannot rule out the possibility that this guy might quit competing following the series of behind-the-scenes controversies at GAM Esports. Previously, former coach Tinikun had stated that GAM “made promises and then deceived Dia1,” so it’s understandable that this player wants to find a way to avoid trouble and live with his passion for League of Legends.
