Although in Vietnam the concerns about the pandemic that everyone knows have gradually faded, the situation worldwide remains very complex, especially in the United States where Riot Games is headquartered. Therefore, Riot employees still have to work from home, as exemplified by their latest product – the teaser video and skill introduction for Lillia – which was done 100% while working online.

Aside from normal activities, one of the characteristics of Riot Games employees working online is producing a series of crazy videos about League of Legends champions. The most famous and leading figure in this movement is Riot August – a senior member of the champion design team – who frequently creates hilarious clips for Nautilus.
It seems that Riot August has grown tired of “playing” with champions, so he has shifted to experimenting with items. The first “victim” in this experiment is Galeforce, alongside its normal effects of increasing attack range and dealing bonus damage, Riot August added a “summon spell” effect to this item. And the character summoned is none other than Nautilus.

A few patches ago, the marksman items were all buffed, but only in terms of movement speed to kite effectively. Riot Games did not directly increase the damage of the electric items because it would cause a massive imbalance in power as marksmen already have high damage. Perhaps Riot August understands this, so he only shared these “funny updates” on social media and did not experiment on the PBE server.
