The couple Noway – Cara has recently become one of the hottest pairs in the Vietnamese gaming and entertainment scene. However, as their fame grows, the risk of facing controversy is unavoidable. Recently, a fanpage that specializes in showbiz news unexpectedly posted an article in the style of “exposing” that hinted at a streamer-singer couple who are in a “contractual” relationship benefiting from this love story.
Although it did not specifically mention names, with details like “participating in a famous show in hopes of finding true love” (the dating game show “Who Is That Person?”), “male streamer” and “female singer”, anyone would immediately think of the couple Cara – Noway.
This fanpage implied that the relationship between Cara and Noway is merely a “transactional romance”, and their appearances together at events are just a way to help both enhance their public image and promote upcoming products.
However, what’s noteworthy is that this fanpage also claimed that “male streamer A” already has a girlfriend, and the relationship with “female singer A” only serves the mutual benefit, even stating that the girlfriend of streamer A is also “seeing someone else in a love contract”.
Immediately after this article was published, Cao Lê Tuấn Tú, the manager of SBTC, expressed extreme outrage and posted a response in the Noway fan community group. Noway’s manager criticized the aforementioned fanpage for being “cheap clickbait” and asserted that if this fanpage does not take appropriate action, they will call for reports due to false statements.
The community’s reaction subsequently forced the fanpage to temporarily lock its account to avoid backlash. Later, the fanpage reopened and deleted the aforementioned post; however, what the SBTC community needs is a correction and an apology for the baseless reporting affecting Noway and Cara.
Therefore, SBTC’s manager continued to call for reporting this fanpage, citing that it’s not just Noway – Cara but many other famous personalities and stars in showbiz.
It cannot be denied that the collaboration between Cara and Noway has brought many advances in both of their careers. Nevertheless, the implication that the handsome streamer from the SBTC community and the singer Cara are “seeing each other” for profit is indeed a rather unconvincing statement, as in reality, they have not officially dated but are just in the process of getting to know each other.
Moreover, Cara has not shown any signs of releasing new musical products. Furthermore, the insinuation that Noway has a girlfriend and that his girlfriend is also “seeing someone else” is truly hard to accept without compelling evidence. Additionally, the fact that the fanpage in question automatically deleted the post further indicates the lack of basis in the content they published.
