The recent victory against Royal Never Give Up marked the sixth consecutive win for Suning in the LPL Summer 2020, a record streak that this team has never achieved before, causing other teams to truly reassess SN as a legitimate contender.
And of course, to be completely fair, this impressive performance streak of SN has a significant contribution from their jungler – SofM. Since the Spring tournament, the Chinese League of Legends community has continuously shared articles analyzing SofM, with many providing in-depth insights into his role and achievements over the past four years since arriving in the LPL.
Recently, right after RNG’s defeat, Letme – one of the legendary players of the LPL, continued to praise the Vietnamese jungle god. In a stream commentary, while pointing out the weaknesses of RNG, Letme also asserted that SofM is the key to SN’s success.
“Do you guys want to know a tip that I’m about to share? If you want to jungle, you absolutely must watch SofM’s matches. Absolutely.
Just by watching him play, your understanding will be enlightened significantly, like breaking a seal and upgrading your skills.
Once you enter SofM’s mindset, you will become a great jungler. For him, this is not just a game. Among all the players I’ve known, no one understands the jungle of Summoner’s Rift better than SofM. Counter-ganking, jungle stealing, monster counting, his own jungle routes, and the opponent’s jungle routes all play out like a default formula in his head.
My good brother – Karsa once told me: ‘I can’t handle it! Jungling with him is never stable for even a second, that style drives me crazy,’ when his TES faced SN in a scrim.”
