After two years in North America “taking a break”, Bang has officially returned to the LCK – the world’s top League of Legends tournament, as a rookie marksman of the Afreeca Freecs team. In a recent interview, the two-time world champion (and still the only marksman to achieve this feat) shared his feelings about this emotional return to Korea.
One of the most interesting topics, of course, is the connection between Bang and T1, formerly SKT T1 – the team Bang spent most of his career with and where he achieved all his glory as a League of Legends player.

When the reporter asked which team Bang most wanted to face in the LCK Spring 2020, the marksman immediately responded without hesitation:
“The answer is quite obvious, why do people ask me to say it? The team I want to face the most is T1. That’s the team I have been attached to for a long time, and SKT – where I used to be, has many differences compared to T1 now, and I’m very curious about that. If I get to play against T1, my feelings will surely be mixed.”

Perhaps Bang is not the only one eager to reunite with T1 on the professional stage. The return of this legendary marksman is a significant surprise for LCK fans and also brings great excitement to the League of Legends community.
Alongside Bang, the Demon King Faker – the “only” character from SKT’s golden era still wearing the T1 jersey, will have the opportunity to reunite with many old acquaintances at the upcoming LCK Spring 2021. They include kkOma and PoohManDu – one is a former coach, and the other a former teammate, both currently holding coaching positions at DAMWON Gaming, and cCarter – the head coach who led SKT T1 to three world championships, now the director of the DragonX organization.

All the characters who contributed to the golden history of T1, and somewhat of the LCK, will reunite after many years apart, but now, they will become rivals of each other and promise to bring fans fierce, uncompromising competitions to compete for the highest position.
