Lulu
With her significant buffs in patch 10.25, the Forest God is gradually dominating the meta of Teamfight Tactics with her “toughness”. To amplify the durability of units like Maokai, Hecarim, or Nunu, Lulu is essential as she provides additional healing and crowd control for your team. With Lulu on board, the frontline champions of the Forest God, already quite strong, become even harder to take down.

Even when facing compositions like Assassins or Phantoms, Lulu helps keep your carry alive much longer. In summary, Lulu ensures that the Forest God composition survives as long as possible and maximizes the annoyance of her ability to stack armor and magic resistance. At just 2 gold, players do not need to spend too many resources on this champion. Cheap, high-quality, and providing strong defensive capabilities are what Lulu brings to the table.
Ezreal
While Lulu adds defensive capabilities, Ezreal pushes the attacking power of the Forest God to the maximum. Ezreal’s Arcane Barrage provides up to 50% attack speed to all allies, significantly boosting the damage output of Ashe or Warwick. This allows Warwick’s ability to trigger multiple times, further increasing Ashe’s attack speed. In short, with one cast from Ezreal, players can be assured that the enemy team will be easily obliterated.

In previous versions when the Forest God was weak, Ezreal even fell to the position of one of the worst 5 gold units due to lacking impressive damage from his abilities or auto-attacks. This unit was sometimes used in specific compositions like 4 Enchanters but did not fully utilize his skill’s potential. It wasn’t until the Forest God was significantly buffed in patch 10.25 that Ezreal had the chance to shine brightly.
Annie
Alongside the comeback of the Forest God, Sorcerers also made a spectacular “comeback”. The reason is that players now tend to build tanky units first before considering investing resources into carries. Strong early-game compositions like Assassins, Moon Clan, and Phantoms have been heavily nerfed, so no one plays them anymore. With the biggest counter out of the meta, tank champions with relatively low damage, Sorcerers find it much easier to navigate the early game.

This also makes Annie, the strongest tank of the Sorcerers, more favored for her immense shielding capability. You should not only focus on damage items for your carries; the prerequisite for successfully playing a Sorcerer team is having a sufficiently strong Annie unit. This champion often stands alone in the frontline, so players need to equip her with many defensive items to maximize her ability to cast spells.
