New Lucky Box System
The Lucky Box is a new system introduced by Riot Games in Teamfight Tactics Season 4.5. Specifically, after each shared selection round, all players will receive a Lucky Box with the same rewards. The rewards from the Lucky Box will include gold, individual items, consumable items…. You can find out more details about the new consumable items in Teamfight Tactics Season 4.5 HERE.

This system will provide players with more options for building items and improve their current gold supply. Given the significant impact of items in Teamfight Tactics, the Lucky Box system can sometimes create opportunities for players to make spectacular comebacks.
Additionally, consumable items will also play a crucial role in building and upgrading team compositions. For example, the Loaded Dice item will refresh the shop when used on a friendly unit. All new units in the shop will share the same origin – class with the targeted unit. This item requires players to choose the unit to use very carefully to upgrade their team as quickly as possible since it only refreshes the shop once.

Changes to the Champion System
With the release of a multitude of new champions, Riot Games has also made notable adjustments to the Champion system. In the upcoming major update, 1-cost Champions will no longer appear at level 6. The same will apply to 2/3-cost Champions at levels 8/9. This change will force players to carefully consider every decision to level up or roll for champions.

The update on the appearance rates of Champions will make the strategy of reaching level 9 early extremely powerful. If you are lucky enough to reach level 9 early, the chances of making a comeback with 5-cost Champions are tremendous. Dominant names like Samira, Yone, Swain… in their Champion forms can carry the entire team to victory.

Item Adjustments
The first major adjustment to items pertains to Zz’Rot Portal, where the creature spawned from this item will gain additional armor/magic resistance over the course of the match. This ensures that Zz’Rot Portal is no longer too “weak” in the late game. Additionally, the damage amplification of Giant Slayer has been nerfed from 80% to 90% damage. It seems that the issue of frontline champions being eliminated too quickly in the late game may no longer be a problem.

The final noteworthy item adjustment is the nerf aimed at the Justice Fist. Essentially, the damage increase or healing stats of this item have been reduced from 45% to 40%. This item will no longer make some champions overly dominant in the mid-game due to exceptional damage or healing. Perhaps players who love “the God” Yasuo will not be happy to hear this news.
