Vladimir
In the current meta, magic damage dealers need to have strong burst potential to take down opponents as quickly as possible. Moreover, they must stand at a safe distance to avoid crowd control abilities or being quickly eliminated by enemy Assassins. Unfortunately, Vladimir lacks both of these attributes, which is why he is not favored by players. In fact, Vladimir is considered one of the worst units in Teamfight Tactics right now.

With only single-target damage and not being a Mage, Vladimir in Season 4.5 struggles to eliminate opponents quickly. Additionally, with a range of only 2 tiles, this unit is easily hit by crowd control abilities and damage from enemies, leading to his quick demise. Furthermore, the current meta heavily favors other compositions, causing Vladimir’s usage to drop significantly.
Tristana
This unit is considered a significantly weaker version of Vayne, leaving players with no reason to choose her as their main carry. Previously, Vayne had an innate ability that dealt true damage, ensuring her damage output. However, Tristana’s skill only provides magic damage for 3 seconds, which means she contributes very little to your team’s damage from start to finish.

Furthermore, with the meta leaning towards expensive carries like Aurelion Sol, Kayle, and Olaf, investing in Tristana is a risky move. This champion is often only utilized as a placeholder for stronger carries. Even in this role, Tristana is less effective than Nidalee, as Nidalee can support both magic and physical carries. In conclusion, players should likely skip Tristana, even if she is an Anomaly unit.
Darius
Darius exemplifies how a poor tribe-system can hinder a unit in Teamfight Tactics. His skill is significantly stronger compared to Season 3, with increased damage and becoming unstoppable while using his ability. However, since his main damage comes from his skill, the healing effect of the Butcher tribe does not help Darius survive significantly longer. Additionally, Darius relies on items that enhance skill damage, making him a poor fit for the Butcher tribe.

Moreover, possessing the God of Wealth tribe makes players hesitant to invest in this unit. It’s important to note that the God of Wealth only provides players with economic and equipment advantages but does not directly increase combat power. Therefore, as the game progresses, the God of Wealth becomes weaker as opponents complete their lineups and equip their carries. This significant disadvantage leads to the God of Wealth and units of this tribe, including Darius, being rated very poorly.
