Top Lane – Ornn
Recently, in the Spring 2021 tournament matches, Ornn has not been picked as much due to the presence of more mobile and versatile champions like Renekton, Camille… but it cannot be denied that Ornn, when needed, is always the best choice for the role of tank and team fight initiator.

Back in the 2020 season, Ornn was one of the champions in the highest ban rate, with this demigod boasting a pick rate of up to 87% at the 2020 World Championship held in Shanghai.
Jungle – Lee Sin
Lee Sin is one of the most skill-demanding champions in League of Legends. The Blind Monk is also incredibly strong in team fights, jungle farming, and ganking, that is if you can master this champion. Otherwise, Lee Sin is also one of the top “team floppers”.

In the final match of MAD Lions at LEC Summer 2020 against G2 Esports, player Zhiqiang “Shad0w” Zhao delivered an exceptional Lee Sin play with a perfectly timed Q – R – Flash combo that “kicked” Perkz towards the MAD Lions formation. Unfortunately, Perkz was focused, leading to the team fight only claiming the life of Mikyx.
Mid Lane – Zed
Zed is also a skill matchup in the mid lane. There are not many players confident enough to play Zed in professional matches, but in ranked games or even in lower ranks, Zed is always one of the interesting choices.

With a highly mobile skill set featuring W – Living Shadow, good burst damage with Q – Razor Shuriken and E – Shadow Slash, Zed can have a fairly “easy” laning phase and even dominate the enemy lane. His ultimate R – Death Mark can quickly burst down squishy champions like Mages, ADCs, or Supports.
AD Carry – Lucian
Lucian is one of the rare cases that can excel both as an AD Carry and in the mid lane. His mobile skill set and good damage output make The Purifier not easily bullied in lane or out-farmed too much, even during difficult early game phases (in case the Support doesn’t provide good cover or gets ganked heavily).

In both the previous season and the early stage of Spring 2021, Lucian remains one of the most picked champions in all professional tournaments.
Support – Thresh
Where there is Lucian, there cannot be a lack of his “soulmate” – Thresh. In fact, some players even joke that the Lucian – Thresh duo has more potential than Lucian – Senna, as the Lucian – Thresh pair has many shared skins while Lucian – Senna only has the Cowboy skin and that’s it!!!

Thresh is one of the supports with incredibly strong crowd control. With a well-timed Q – Death Sentence, Thresh can easily secure a kill from the enemy. Additionally, his passive, Damnation, increases his armor and ability power, allowing him to become a semi-tank in early skirmishes when the main tank of the team is still lacking essential items.
