A few weeks ago, T1 Polt (CEO of T1 LoL) announced that T1 is in the process of creating a “digital version of Faker” or simply “Virtual Faker” to help Faker with advertisements. As of now, this “Virtual Faker” has been completed and introduced on T1’s official Instagram:
According to T1, “Virtual Faker” was used to film advertisements about a month ago, allowing Faker time to rest and practice for the match against Fredit BRION. As a result, Faker and T1 won 2-0 against Fredit BRION, which is a positive sign for the Demon King’s return to the top of the LCK rankings.

Furthermore, T1 stated that this is still a trial version, and this “Virtual Faker” will be improved in the future. Moreover, once completed, the “Virtual Faker” will be used to interact with fans in various ways, aiming to prevent Faker from overexerting himself during activities outside of League of Legends competitions.

On the other hand, Korean fans find this “Virtual Faker” quite adorable and interesting, with many fans eagerly demanding T1 to release a mobile app so everyone can “live virtually” with Faker. However, since “Virtual Faker” is currently being used by T1 to film advertisements under contract, this request from fans may be difficult to realize in the near future.
