After a long period of professional gamers shaping the meta, patch 11.3 brings us many impressive champions in each position. This time, let’s explore the champions most trusted by professional players when climbing ranks:
Top Lane – Gnar

Currently, Gnar is the most chosen champion by many professional gamers in the top lane. Essentially, Gnar is used as a flexible option because he can fit into many team compositions, from team fights to split-pushing.
Moreover, when considering his laning ability, Gnar is extremely strong with his percentage health poke playstyle, capable of dominating some prominent names in the meta like Gragas. Additionally, when equipped with his core item, Gnar’s Spike, his kiting ability becomes significantly stronger, allowing him to better position for his ultimate ability.
Jungle – Nidalee

In the current meta, Nidalee is the most used champion by pro players in the jungle position. Since the strong buff in patch 10.25, Nidalee hasn’t been touched by Riot Games, making her extremely dangerous in the jungle. In the hands of an experienced player, Nidalee excels at everything from jungle clear speed, vision control, objective control to ganking.
Especially, with the Mythic item, Night Harvester, the pressure Nidalee creates on the map is immense, as hitting an enemy with a maximum range Javelin Toss (Q) can easily take away half their health.
Mid Lane – Orianna

Often regarded as a versatile champion in the mid lane, Orianna has always been a popular choice among players, and the current meta is no exception.
In patch 11.3, the two Mythic items commonly built for Orianna are Luden’s Tempest and Liandry’s Anguish (depending on the enemy team composition). The main playstyle remains safe farming during the laning phase and focusing on team fights in the later stages of the game, a simple yet effective strategy thanks to Orianna’s champion characteristics.
Bottom Lane – Kai’Sa

Surpassing even the “overpowered” champion Samira, Kai’Sa is currently the top trusted marksman by professional gamers in ranked play.
Firstly, Kai’Sa is not particularly strong during the laning phase, but with clever use of runes, she can still dominate many other champions. Once she acquires 1-2 items, Kai’Sa will “explode with power,” outclassing other marksmen even at the same level and item count.

The most commonly used rune for Kai’Sa is Lethal Tempo combined with Transcendence and Biscuit Delivery for lane sustain. The popular item build path includes Galeforce, Berserker’s Greaves, Kraken Slayer, followed by Runaan’s Hurricane.
Support – Rell

At the time of her release, Rell was quite a niche champion, but now that her strengths have been unlocked, she is widely used in the bottom lane.
Many believe that Rell is the perfect support champion with a combination of crowd control and various buffs for her marksman, such as healing, armor, and magic resist boosts. This allows Rell and her marksman to engage in skirmishes or intense team fights without fear.
Additionally, Rell’s crowd control abilities can initiate fights and have great potential for wombo combos, making her the number one choice for the support position in patch 11.3.
