SBTC Esports (SE) – a team that can be considered an All Star collective of VCS Spring 2021 this year with names that guarantee top achievements, and many even expect SE to make a significant impact and achieve great results in international tournaments (MSI, World Championship).
However, in reality, SE’s performance has not met expectations. While SE still holds the third position after the first round, that does not mean they are without any issues. Recently, they suffered a shocking defeat to Burst The Sky (BTS) – a team currently near the bottom of the VCS Spring 2021 standings.
Witnessing this, many fans jokingly suggested that SE needs former coach Tinikun – a well-known figure in Vietnamese League of Legends and particularly has a close relationship with SE. Regarding this issue, just a few hours ago, former coach Tinikun spoke out frankly.

“Tinikun, SE needs you.
Between me and Coach Violet, we have a partnership; we are all grown up and have jobs, but when people write and comment like this many times, it can become uncomfortable.
Tinikun, SE needs you to sell merch for SE, or SE needs to sell merch with Tinikun, that would work.
Even when I was champion, I was never more comprehensive or better than Violet in this coaching role; it’s just what people call me, but I never call myself that coach, haha.
Violet has been playing this game since it was not yet released, and not translated in Vietnam for quite a while, starting from then he has made a name for himself, playing for so many years, SAJ, champion of Vietnam, going to the US, through SF5, into Full Louis, through EVOS, and has interacted with so many generations of gamers.”…
Besides defending and showing clear support for Coach Violet, Tinikun also emphasized that SE’s current weakness lies in jungler Yijin. He believes that being replaced by EGO throughout the Summer 2020 has left the former Team Flash player feeling “nervous” and unable to regain necessary performance. Additionally, being under too much pressure and being teased as “bathing eight times in the same river” has greatly affected Yijin’s mentality.

Tinikun’s heartfelt words received a lot of support from the Vietnamese League of Legends community, especially SE fans. SE is a new team, and even though it consists entirely of “big-name” players, the current team-up is still not an easy task. However, many still believe that SE will soon make a comeback.
