Just arriving in Iceland, the Royal Never Give Up players immediately dove into training on the European League of Legends server. Clearly, starting later than their “key opponents” DWG KIA is a disadvantage, and the LPL representatives are making significant efforts to overcome this.
However, on the European server (specifically Western Europe), a comical incident occurred involving GALA – the ADC for RNG. Among the members of the Chinese League of Legends champions, GALA is perhaps the one most eager to prove himself. He was once considered a subpar ADC and not capable of replacing Uzi, but his performance in the 2021 LPL Spring Finals changed everyone’s perception of him.

Now, GALA stands before the opportunity to replicate the achievements of his senior, as RNG is viewed as one of the two strongest contenders for the MSI 2021 championship. Thus, this young player has been furiously practicing on the Western European server.
In just over a day, he successfully conquered the Diamond rank on this server. Nonetheless, GALA’s somewhat “overwhelming” performance left many European gamers astonished, and in a recent match, he was even accused by opponents of… using hacks.

In this match, GALA’s Kog’Maw achieved a KDA of 8/2/8, making him the best player of the match and helping his team secure victory. Moreover, he demonstrated star quality by continuously escaping from attempts to catch him by Diana, Sylas, and Lee Sin from the opposing team.
GALA’s ability to dodge skills and kite gracefully made the Miss Fortune player on the other side suspicious, stating: “Hey, you Chinese Kog’Maw, are you using hacks?”
The reason this player knew GALA was from China was that he had chatted a few sentences in Chinese during the match, but perhaps the opponent didn’t realize GALA is a top professional player in the world, leading to such a “silly” question.

Meanwhile, the Chinese gaming community did not seem overly concerned about this suspicion; in fact, they considered the question of “hacks?” as evidence of recognition of GALA’s talent from his opponents, and thus felt quite proud of their player. Why proud? Because despite starting later, RNG players are already catching up to the rank climbing pace of the DK members. After all, competition on all fronts is what makes the “China-Korea rivalry” so interesting.
