Zeke’s Herald
While Zeke’s Herald is an incredibly powerful item, its Dark version is extremely “useless” if not detrimental to your team composition. The price you pay for the substantial attack speed boost from Dark Zeke’s Herald is that two adjacent units will suffer a 25% reduction in attack speed. Even if you don’t prioritize damage, the reduced attack speed will cause those two units in your team to cast their abilities more slowly, significantly decreasing their overall utility.

Furthermore, Dark Zeke’s Herald only provides attack speed to the champion. This item does not grant any burst damage or strong healing for your carries. If you encounter champions with devastating damage like Karma or Vel’Koz, your carry, despite having high attack speed, will still find it hard to survive. The advice is to avoid combining Dark Zeke’s Herald and instead focus on more useful items such as Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge, or Guardian Angel.
Giant’s Bow
The absurdity of this item is that it gives champions a “neutral” effect while significantly weakening your carry. Specifically, when dealing critical damage, Giant’s Bow will reduce both the target’s armor and magic resistance by 50%. In return, the champion using it will always have their armor and magic resistance reduced by 25%. This makes the carry using Giant’s Bow extremely easy to take down, as they are usually low-health champions with not much defensive stats.

The downside of Giant’s Bow is that its magic resistance reduction ability is utterly useless when used on champions that deal strong physical damage. Currently, in Teamfight Tactics, there is no champion that can deal both magic and physical damage equally well to maximize the effect of this item. Therefore, if you need an effect to reduce the enemy team’s defensive stats, the regular Giant’s Bow is still a much safer choice.
Divine Cloak
In terms of damage dealing, Divine Cloak is only slightly stronger than its regular version due to having a larger effect range and a faster targeting time by one second. However, the Fire Cloak does not inflict any harmful effects on the champion that possesses it. Meanwhile, the Divine Cloak deals true damage and applies a healing reduction effect to the champion holding it. Therefore, your tank will die very quickly if they hold this item.

Because of this overly “useless” effect, the Divine Cloak has been completely abandoned by players in recent times. We need to remember that the purpose of defensive items is to help your champions survive longer in battles. However, the Divine Cloak goes against this principle, making your frontline too fragile and easy to take down. The advice here is that Teamfight Tactics players should not combine this item under any circumstances.
