Recently, the esports organization Suning issued a statement regarding an intruder who broke into their gaming house, severely impacting the security and safety of the players.
However, according to the developments of the incident, a spokesperson for SN also mentioned that this intruder did not attempt to steal anything, but merely took the liberty to… chat with the players, even turning on the game console and asking to meet the coach.

“At 0:03 AM on May 10, 2021, a young man in a white shirt carrying a bag of clothes and personal items, took advantage of the players opening the door to receive late-night food delivery, to break into the gaming house of the team. This person claimed to be a friend of a member of the Suning League of Legends team there to deliver items. Subsequently, this individual uninvitedly entered the room, turned on the computer, chatted with the players, and requested to meet the coach, but was discovered and chased out.”
“Combined with the recent incidents where the players received several unidentified calls requesting to meet, the team has heightened their alertness, initially by checking all security cameras around the area, and reminding staff and team members to be more vigilant.”
“Previously, we encountered situations where many people directly came to the gaming house requesting to try out, but without any prior contact. We always welcome young people who dream of joining the professional esports scene, but we also remind everyone that if you want to apply for a trial, please send your resume and contact us in advance. We will respond promptly and extend invitations to qualified individuals so you can come for trials.”

According to speculations from Suning, this “intruder” did not have theft as his intention but seemed to sneak into the gaming house to meet the coach of the League of Legends team to request a trial. However, with such a “wrong approach” and attitude, even if he were the top Challenger, no one would dare to recruit him. It’s already fortunate that the police were not called to resolve the situation.
