Recently, on the personal Facebook page of Ms. Trần Thu Đông – the founder of Divine Corp, owner of the Divine gaming and esports brand (Divine Shop, PUBG Divine Esports team, League of Legends: Wild Rift Divine Esports team…) a post appeared announcing the establishment of the Divine League of Legends team, aiming to compete in the VCS and contend for a spot in international tournaments.

Under the “serious” title, the owner of Divine Esports has set relatively strict criteria for member selection: “A-tier players, who have previously won the VCS.” In return, the benefits for joining Divine are also very attractive: Players will receive all prize money, sponsorship funds, “achievements mean everything.”
However, more notably, according to Ms. Thu Đông’s sharing, the Divine League of Legends team will be led by a very familiar name – Former Coach Dương “Tinikun” Nguyễn Duy Danh, also known as “Anh Nị.” According to the information in the article, Tinikun will take on the role of Head Coach and Analyst for the Divine Esports League of Legends team.
Since leaving GAM Esports a year ago, Tinikun has not taken on any official role in the VCS. Recently, this former coach was rumored to have joined SBTC Esports as an “assistant coach,” but there has been no official announcement regarding this.

If the information about Tinikun becoming the head coach of Divine Esports is accurate, it is highly likely that this team will officially participate in the VCS Summer 2021 season. Currently, the VCS Summer 2021 promotion round is nearing its conclusion, making it impossible to promote from VCSB.
According to our exclusive sources, one of the teams participating in the VCS Summer 2021 promotion round will proceed with transferring their slot if they secure a spot in the tournament. It is not ruled out that Divine Esports will enter the professional League of Legends scene through a slot transfer method.
Divine Esports, under Divine Corp, is one of the well-known esports organizations in Vietnam in recent years. Currently, Divine Esports is one of the most traditional names in the Vietnamese PUBG scene, and they also possess a League of Legends: Wild Rift team with considerably strong capabilities.

Although it is a “purely Vietnamese” organization, Divine Esports’ financial potential is not to be underestimated, which is perhaps why the owner of Divine boldly announced the recruitment of a series of star players who have previously won the VCS to join the team. If the plan to build the Divine League of Legends team becomes a reality, it is highly likely that this will be a new “Super Team” in Vietnamese League of Legends.
