Mages – Zombies
In patch 11.11, the resilience of the Adaptive Zombie has been significantly increased at the initial levels. However, Riot heavily nerfing the damage of Mage units has negatively impacted this composition. Essentially, they nerfed the bonus skill damage at the 4 Mage threshold, causing these units to deal quite poor damage in the early game. Furthermore, the nerf to Vel’Koz’s base damage has also weakened the Mage – Zombie team.

Besides the direct impacts, this composition is also affected by the meta of patch 11.11. With early roll strategies at levels 6-7 being buffed, compositions based on health preservation and reaching level 8 like Mage – Zombies find it very difficult to survive. Moreover, players must fiercely compete with others for important 4-cost units like Rell, Ryze, or even Vel’Koz. Therefore, the chances of the Mage – Zombie composition making it to the top 4 in patch 11.11 have significantly decreased compared to before.
Warriors – Dragons
In patch 11.11, the biggest change likely comes from the shield layer of the Warrior system interacting with maximum health instead of a fixed number as before. To illustrate, to have 300 shields at the 3 Warrior threshold, your champion must have 1500 health in patch 11.11. Remember that aside from Lee Sin, there are no Warriors under 3 gold, and achieving 2-star status at this health level without items is quite challenging.

This has made the early-game resilience and subsequent damage output of the Warrior composition much worse than in the previous patch. As a result, you won’t be able to snowball effectively to gain an advantage in health and accumulate significant gold to upgrade Mordekaiser or Jax. The advice is to only use the Warrior – Dragon composition if you can upgrade Trundle to 2-star and acquire Pantheon along with a Redemption early on. Otherwise, you should skip this composition.
6 Legionnaires
Although not an overpowered composition in the previous patch, the 6 Legionnaires team has still seen a decline in power in various ways. First, we need to mention that Riven was buffed and became an extremely strong carry. It was thought that this would be a savior piece for the Legionnaire system, but players have started using Riven as a carry for the Divine team or in combination with Brawlers. Therefore, the 6 Legionnaires team often finds itself without Riven to play in patch 11.11.

Furthermore, Riot’s continued nerfing of Draven, Kayle, and even Mordekaiser in patch 11.11 further weakens the late-game power of the Legionnaire composition. It may be time for Riot to revamp the effects of the Legionnaire system to give this composition clear strength. Providing only pure attack speed and a bit of healing from Legionnaires has rendered the value of this system extremely low, especially when you can acquire these effects through items and utilize stronger traits or systems.
