“Angering” T1 Fans in Vietnam, the Brand Issues an Apology but Only Adds “Fuel to the Fire”
In the days when the drama between T1 and Gumayusi intensified, several “victims” were inadvertently pulled into the situation, such as Doran and KLEVV. However, some names have willingly brought upon themselves “disaster” due to tactless oversights, further enraging T1 fans. Specifically, recently, Goals Studio – the brand sponsoring T1’s jerseys – unexpectedly liked several comments that implied negativity towards Vietnamese fans. Notably, these comments simply questioned the absence of Doran in the brand’s collaboration announcement video.

The brand’s actions immediately sparked outrage in the community and led to a “backlash”. In this context, Goals Studio was forced to disable comments. A few hours later, the brand released a story apologizing, but it only provoked further anger among fans. Instead of taking responsibility, this brand blamed… hackers.
According to some opinions, a proper apology post is what T1 fans, especially in Vietnam, are currently awaiting, not a story that lasts only 24 hours. It is worth mentioning that this brand also has a distribution branch right in the S-shaped land.

T1 is Truly the Most Unique Champion in Worlds History
Perhaps even T1 has never faced such a situation in the past. During the 2020 – 2021 period when Faker’s performance declined, fans, despite the debates, could understand the issues facing the team. Even during the downturn after the 2017 Worlds, the team still received near-universal support from fans. But now, everything is completely different.

After becoming the greatest team in League of Legends history, T1 is now causing fans to live in confusion and frustration while the players are being attacked on all fronts. But ultimately, the root cause of all these events comes from the management’s ineffective and non-transparent communication and operations.
