If you remember, in patch 11.10, the Spellbook rune and the Smite summoner spell had a significant bug. Essentially, when you first switched to Smite with the Spellbook rune, it would always deal 900 true damage. In theory, you should only be able to deal that amount of true damage when switching summoner spells for the second time. In patch 11.11, Riot tried to fix this bug, but the community discovered that they accidentally created 3 new bugs as a result.
Essentially, Riot Games only fixed the “Smite damage hack” for players starting with this summoner spell. However, for some unknown reason, Riot Games permanently locked this damage threshold, meaning that no matter how many times you switch summoner spells, Smite will only deal 450 true damage. This is entirely contrary to the description of the Spellbook rune. To unlock the 900 true damage threshold, you must complete the Smite quest 5 times.

As mentioned above, Riot only fixed the bug for players starting with Smite. If you are not a jungler but still switch to Smite at the first opportunity, it will still deal 900 true damage. This is completely different from Riot’s description stating, “Smite will now increase damage after switching spells 2 times.”

So what happens if we switch to Smite from the second time onward as Riot Games suggested? Unfortunately, this leads to the third bug where Smite only deals 450 true damage after this switch. Meanwhile, according to Riot’s description, it should be in an enhanced form and deal 900 damage to monsters.

Due to encountering so many bugs, the League of Legends community has expressed immense frustration with Riot’s “fixing a sound pig into a broken pig” situation. Some are so exasperated that they are not even surprised by the serious game bugs that League of Legends faces. Even the “bug saint” Vandiril had trouble explaining the aforementioned bugs to players, despite being so familiar with League of Legends bugs.

Vandiril: “Thanks to my buddy Polypuff for helping me complete this video. Things have really gotten worse in the current version regarding Smite. If you don’t understand what I’m saying in the video, just think of it simply as everything is wrong. Patch 11.10 was bad, but 11.11 is even more absurd.”

I guess Riot is also feeling very confused when trying to fix one of the above bugs.
At this stage, I’m no longer surprised by League of Legends bugs. Wasn’t the emergence of Viego a huge pile of bugs already?

In the next patch, switching to Smite will allow you to summon the old Mordekaiser, instantly take down nearby champions, and turn into a ghost. Viego can then use his ultimate on that ghost to win immediately.
I think this: Viego has never really been released. All those terrible codes from Riot have created and introduced Viego themselves. Now he has influenced summoner spells.

After that “ground-breaking” adjustment, Riot Games needs to learn a deep lesson and can resolve all the bugs that League of Legends is facing. If not, this game will soon become “League of Bugs” once again like in the past version 9.14.
