Recently, Riot Games revealed the first information about a new game mode in League of Legends under the keyword “Ruined King”. Almost 99% sure, this will be content within the Ruined King event. In fact, in the latest move, some unofficial sources even claim that this will be “the largest event in League of Legends history”, surpassing the Fire Tide.
This event, tentatively called Ruined King, will include a storyline update, game content, and the introduction of one or more new champions directly related to Viego. Most importantly, it will showcase a completely new game mode in Summoner’s Rift.

The first images of the new Summoner’s Rift map have appeared on the test server. It can be seen that an entire area rich in mythological color from the Runeterra universe has been engulfed by a black mist, with creatures and terrain completely corrupted.
Currently, it is unclear how the Nameless King mode will differ from the traditional game modes familiar on the old Summoner’s Rift. It is likely to be a variant similar to the Blood Moon Hunt – a game mode that was previously launched on Summoner’s Rift, where players could only use assassin champions to compete.

Notably, the designs of both the Dragon and Baron have been changed in the Ruined King version of the Summoner’s Rift map, which could be a sign that new and exciting mechanics will appear in this game mode.
The Ruined King event is expected to officially launch for League of Legends players in version 11.4.
