Nidalee
It can be said that the rework in patch 11.13 has truly revived Nidalee, making her a valuable piece for players to invest in Teamfight Tactics. Thanks to Riot’s adjustments, Nidalee can now deal damage more effectively rather than being overly reliant on evasion stats. With increases to both attack speed and empowered damage dealing, Nidalee can inflict a very annoying mix of damage and allows players to choose items freely in the shared selection round.

Nidalee’s return has immediately bolstered the Warrior team greatly, making it a meta composition. Moreover, the Celestial team has also benefited somewhat by having Nidalee as an option to reach the backline. The most effective way to build Nidalee currently is to combine Runaan’s Hurricane and Giant Slayer to reduce the armor/magic resistance of as many enemy champions as possible.
Trundle
While Nidalee underwent a complete transformation, Trundle has actually weakened significantly after his rework. Trundle’s strength lies in his ability to disable frontline enemies by stealing a large amount of defensive stats. However, this ability no longer scales with level after the rework, remaining fixed at 35% of the opponent’s armor/magic resistance, health, and attack damage. This has severely impacted Trundle’s power in the mid-game.

As a result, even in the Warrior composition, Trundle is not utilized much in the late game and is often replaced by Nidalee. Essentially, Trundle’s rework has made this champion no longer overpowered in the late game and has returned to the value of a 2-cost unit. You should still buy Trundle early to activate the Dragon and Warrior effects, but players should not keep this unit on the board for too long, especially in the late game.

Kayle
Although referred to as a light rework, Kayle’s adjustments in patch 11.13 feel like a comprehensive nerf. The fact that Kayle requires 15 attacks to gain 1 second of damage immunity, along with a significant reduction in damage at her 4th Ascension, has made this unit considerably weaker. Increasing her attack damage and attack speed slightly has no real significance for Kayle, as she remains too weak before reaching her final Ascended state.

Therefore, Kayle’s issues remain unresolved as she requires a strong enough team to function effectively. You must have an extremely strong Celestial team or 6 Knight units that are beefy enough to maximize Kayle’s potential. If you intend to use a Celestial team to climb ranks, the recommendation is to aim for units like Lux, Varus, and Vel’Koz. They are champions that are easier to build and can reach power thresholds much earlier than taking the risky investment in Kayle.
