Recently, a fanpage dedicated to VCS caused panic within the community by posting an article about the discovery of an F0 case (positive for COVID-19) in the Gaming House of the Saigon Buffalo team.
The fanpage even revealed that a member of SGB’s coaching staff was “showing signs of fever,” and the entire main team as well as the youth team of SGB had to be quarantined for 14 days.

This information immediately caused great concern among Vietnamese League of Legends fans, but shortly after, Saigon Buffalo quickly denied the rumor. A representative of SGB asserted that the information “a member of the coaching staff showing signs of fever leading to the entire main team and youth team being in a 14-day quarantine” was completely false. All members of SGB and YB (Young Buffalo youth team) are currently in good health.

In addition to correcting the information, Saigon Buffalo also stated that the team had collected enough images and evidence to report the incident to the authorities, reflecting the behavior of spreading false rumors for legal action.
Currently, the aforementioned fanpage has been locked after the incident; however, with sufficient images and evidence regarding the baseless rumor, the owner of the fanpage may face legal responsibility and a fine ranging from 10 to 20 million VND for the act of “providing false information on social media (such as Facebook, etc.) about the COVID-19 pandemic situation.”
