Zeus’s Representative Unexpectedly Speaks Up About the Drama with T1
At the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, the League of Legends community witnessed one of the loudest transfer dramas in recent years. The incident garnered attention simply because it involved T1 and the player in question, Zeus, one of the most popular names when he was with T1, perhaps second only to Faker.

The troubles surrounding this transfer are still being discussed to this day, as T1 faces criticism for how they treat their players. Recently, ThePlay – Zeus’s representative, has once again spoken up about this tumultuous drama with extremely unfavorable comments for T1.
Specifically, ThePlay released conversations between their organization and Zeus with T1, particularly on November 19 – the day HLE officially announced Zeus. The information from ThePlay suggests that Zeus did try to find a way to stay with T1. However, this representative confirms that “T1’s offers are not commensurate with a player who has won the World Championship twice like Zeus.”

Additionally, new information shared by ThePlay during an interview with INVEN also shows that Zeus’s representatives do not want their player to be in a passive state as HLE only allowed negotiation until 3 PM. Meanwhile, waiting to meet with T1 would exceed HLE’s deadline, and that team would withdraw from the deal, according to ThePlay.
Furthermore, Zeus’s representatives have stated that they have submitted evidence to the Esports Commission and will await a ruling. At the same time, ThePlay has also implicitly challenged that they would make evidence public if T1 continues to escalate the situation.

But for the community, the revelations about T1 – Zeus have lost much significance
In fact, at this point, the League of Legends community and particularly T1 fans have encountered too many dramas and surprises, to the extent that they are almost out of patience with mere words or potentially fabricated evidence. Especially since the Zeus drama has long passed, and at this moment, fans have lost too much faith in T1.
Therefore, it may be until the ruling from the Esports Commission (if any, as ThePlay shared) that the matter will have enough weight to attract attention.
