Akshan
Riot Games may have been too generous with Akshan in Set 5.5, granting this champion many powerful effects to become a primary carry. First, Akshan will have the Green Bow effect for free, as his attacks always reduce the target’s armor by 50%. Moreover, when using his Heroic Leap ability, Akshan gains attack speed, hits multiple targets, and becomes untargetable. This allows Akshan to deal excellent damage while ensuring his own safety.

Because of having so many powerful effects, Akshan can effectively utilize all items that provide attack speed and AD at this moment. You don’t need to worry about what Akshan’s “core item” is, as this unit can wield various types of equipment while still dealing significant damage. This flexibility allows Akshan to serve as an excellent “stopgap” carry when you fail to upgrade your team composition and need a unit to deal strong damage immediately.
Fiddlesticks
The first strength of Fiddlesticks we need to mention is the powerful tribe synergy this unit possesses. Having both the Undead – Demon tribe and the Mystic trait makes Fiddlesticks a vital piece to help your team become more robust towards the end of the game. Not stopping there, Fiddlesticks’ ability to deal area-of-effect magic damage is also very impressive. If you equip Fiddlesticks correctly, this unit will create a powerful snowball effect in every round of combat.

With the inherent resurrection ability from the Demon trait, you do not necessarily need to build defensive items for Fiddlesticks. Players should equip two items that significantly increase skill damage, such as the Archangel’s Staff and the Rabadon’s Deathcap, to boost this unit’s damage output. If you do not have enough Rod of Ages to craft the Rabadon’s Deathcap, Infinity Edge is a reasonable alternative. For the third item, a Storm Bow to reduce the enemy’s magic resistance is a good option late in the game.

Lucian
The Gunner trait in the current meta is proving to be extremely strong, as the damage output of various carries is very high. Among them, Lucian is considered the strongest piece, as this unit’s skill, Purge, can continuously activate Gunner effects. When combined with items that provide good sustain like the Hand of Justice and Bloodthirster, Lucian is also very hard to take down whenever he uses his skill.

Despite being so powerful, Lucian is still set to receive a slight buff from Riot Games in the upcoming 11.16 patch, where all bullets from his Purge skill will always count as an attack. This means Lucian in the next version will be able to utilize many other items like Runaan’s Hurricane, Statikk Shiv, and Guinsoo’s Rageblade even better… It is highly likely that Lucian will rise to become the strongest carry in Teamfight Tactics in the upcoming 11.16 patch with this seemingly minor adjustment.
